I’m thrilled to see all your recent posts. However, several students are creating posts that ask questions that have already been posted. This clogs up the blog with too much repetition.

PLEASE, read through the posts and respond to other students’ questions first. Then, you can post a new question if it has not already been covered or discussed. This will make the blog easier to manage and more interesting to read and learn from.

Thank you, Miss Washington!

Today was Miss Washington’s last day with us here at SEC. We really enjoyed having her in our class these past few weeks. We wish her well with her new teaching career in West Virginia. Please come back and visit us whenever you’re in town!

Kids, please add comments for Miss Washington to this post. I’m sure she will be checking up on us and would love to hear from you.

Can blogging improve your test scores?

How do you think this site might help you become better prepared for quizzes? Remember, you can read everyone else’s comments after they have been posted. Do you think being able to see and read how other students think and feel about current topics we are discussing in class can help you? Please explain your response. Research finds that some students are actually more likely to share their thoughts in an on-line forum like this rather than in the classroom. Why do you think that is?

Hello everyone!

This page is designed for you to interact with other students and discuss science and social studies topics. You may respond to questions posted by me or reply to other students’ responses. Remember, all posts must remain on topic and correlate with our curriculum. You will be able to use this page to improve your homework study habits and discuss assignments and projects with your classmates.
