Apprentices
We’ve been talking about apprentices in S.S. can you tell me, If you would do what they want until you were 21 and when you were done you get a new suit and 4 new shirts. Please give at least 2 details.

No I wouldn’t, I would not want to live away from my family for 10 years or hardly being able to see my family. For me it would not be very pleasant because I would be miserable and sad. Personally, I need at least 2 hugs a day or I won’t be able to stay happy all the time. Even though a new set of clothes was worth 15 full bags of shillings back then, I still wouldn’t go. It would be awful.

No, I wouldn’t either. I mean first off I think thats crazy to do just for a new suit and four shirts. Like I know in the old days it is different from now but still I think that’s pretty crazy. Second, I mean 10 years !! Are you serious? like I could understand maybe a year but 10 years is a lot of years away from everything. If I really had to do that I would say………… NO. Its just to crazy !!

NO WAY, why would I do all this work for this guy or girl for ten years 1 reason is I wouldn’t see my family for a VERY long time 2 is all I get is a new suit and 4 new shrits last who knows if this person is safe or how far away this place is from my house what if something happens when we are doing work and the place burns down then we and we would have to work 3x as hard to recover all that burned work
